Ugh sore

The past 3 or 4 days my back has been so sore. Not painful, but it feels like I've been spending every waking moment doing an intensive workout.
I've gone back to sleeping on a heat pad, and lying on it throughout the day just to try to ease the muscles some.

Hopefully this passes soon... I'll be 4 weeks post-op tomorrow.

  • Maybe if you alternate between ice and heat it will help a little more.

Is not uncommon after surgery. I seems to come and go, for me it was ~ 6months. I would feel good, so do a little more, then have some more pain for awhile, rest for a couple days, and try again. Up and down, never could find a comfortable medium.

  • Yeah, it's just a little frustrating because it's not going away. One more week and I can try soaking in a hot bath.
I wish I had a hammock, that sounds incredibly comfortable.

I looked up that fabric hammock. They had one like it on a cruise we went on, and it was really comfortable.

  • i find that every second week or so I push myself too far...yesterday i went Christmas shopping on my own... Had to spend the whole evening in bed, alternating heat and ice because of shooting pains and muscle aches.
