Tingling sensation in back of pelvis when bending over PLEASE HELP

I have this tingling sensation in the back portion of my pelvis that was triggered from doing squats. I'm wondering if it is some sort of SI joint dysfunction. It is mostly on my left side, but not completely, and I feel it primarily in the back of my pelvis, kind of across the top. I feel it in the front as well sometimes, it kind of wraps around the top of the pelvis, though the sensation is primarily in the back of the pelvis, more kind of off to the sides, not directly in the center.

Has anyone else had similar symptoms or do you know of anyone with similar symptoms?

I am a 26 year old male. I have felt a similar discomfort when doing squats/good mornings before, but now it's worse! It has usually gone away in a matter of days, but it has been two weeks now!

I've seen one PT, didn't know what was going on. I'm going to see another PT tomorrow, possibly a chiropractor that I trust (he is a trainer for an MLB team) next week, and also possibly an MD who does SI joint injections.

Please help if you are familiar with the symptoms or you can recommend a treatment!

  • I've been diagnosed with SI joint dysfunction. My symptoms present as a deep ache to the sides of my S1. I didn't even know about it until I went to PT. I always thought the pain was from my spina bifida. I do have a tingling just under the back of my hips but my neurosurgeon says that's a pinched S1 nerve from a herniated disc. I really hate it.
