1 Year Post C7 Foraminotomy

Hi everyone,

This is going to be a quick post, but I wanted to drop in and give an update since it's been almost one year since my C7 foraminotomy (laminoforaminotomy to be exact...). Anyways, I feel great, and aside from some slight residual numbness through my index finger and thumb (just the tips), I am doing well. The first two months or so were rough, and I felt like I was sliding backwards, but around then I turned the corner. I was very aggressive with my rehab, which is what I attribute to my recovery. If anyone is interested, check out my very sparse blog, located here:

Parting shot, stay positive and sit around as little as possible post-op. I am convinced that a very active post-op lifestyle is key to recovery.
