Lucency surrounding the right-sided screw of C6

I had my first neck surgery 10/10/12 , C4-5 C5-6 fusion. I recently a week ago started having horrible pain in my neck. asked the doc for an x-ray. it showed 1. mild osseous narrowing of the right C5-C6 neural foramen on the right. 2. Degenerative disc and endplate disease at C6-C7. So.... CT Scan here I come. Had that on Friday. I have access to my records, so of course, my dumb butt printed my CT Scan. it showed 1. The C5-C6 interbody graft appears incorporated into the C5 vertebral body but NOT the C6 vertebral body. The screws at C6 are along the superior endplate and these abut the graft. 2. there is a small amount of lucency surrounding the right-sided screw of C6. I have been wearing my soft colar 24/7 for a week and the pain has lessend, but is no where near gone.

So my question is really simple, am I looking at surgery again or just pain the rest of my life. I started reading so much stuff I have worked myself up. LOL I know people on here will understand my worry. Thank you so much for helping my worried mind
