Chiropractor adjustments

Comments

  • I have talked to my chiropractor and he has done x-rays and looked at my MRI and says that he is not going to adjust that disc, but will adjust everything else and leave it alone. I do trust him somewhat because he is very skilled from what i can tell and he keeps up on the new technics and i have been going to him off and on for 5 years. He has been the only one to give me relief. I am not a doctor and this is my opinion
  • I have had the laser treatments in the past. It was performed by a chiropractor. I did not find in helpful for my thoracic issues, however I have a close friend who swears that it has helped her lumbar issues and pain levels greatly.

  • My thoracic pain is so bad that I can't tolerate an adjustment in that area. So they're simply out as far as I'm concerned. As far as them taking an x-ray, they really should have some idea of what's going on inside of you.

I have heard the same things about Chiropractors. I have also heard that a good one will first get an xray to see what is going on inside before any treatment. I have been told that you can't "adjust" a disc problem.

I have a question. Has anyone heard of laser treatment for neck pain? It is usually administered by a Chiropractor? If so, does it work, is it covered by insurance?
Laser Therapy doesn't always work, but its an option for pain relief. I don't know if its covered by insurance, this could depend on your specific medical insurance carrier. You should probably contact them about that.
