Herniated Disc and Leg Pain/Numbness

Dear All,

I am new to this forum but reaching out for help. I live in Israel and have a 26 yr old son that was diagnosed with a Herniated Disc L5-S1 in January 2013. We have tried all kinds of methods of relief such as chripractor, massage, pain medication. It has been dealable for the past year however approx a month ago it flared up again and came back with a venegence.

Now my son has pain from his buddocks to his knees and can not longer stand straight and even looses weakness in his legs causing him to fall and just recently is having a hard time standing on his feet.

We have an appointment in 2 weeks with a spine specialist but I am concerned that it is too long to wait.

Can someone please send me feedback, etc on if my concerns or time frame is a concern.

A concerned mom
