extreme nerve spasms and numbness but painful leg and foot after microdiscectomy

I had a microdiscectomy on 5,8,14. The surgeon chipped bone due to scoliosis as opposed to disc. I am writing bc my surgeon gave me no answers. I am having horrible spasms that go into my foot. also my calf and foot are numb but extremely painful to touch..like I can't curl my toes under the blackets, the wind from the fan hurts it, and the hair on my legs rubbing on the pillow kills me. please tell me this is normal. my surgeon told me nothing. I have a 6 year old at home and a 4 month old baby and this pain is bad.

  • Please help
  • It may be a normal flare up of nerve pain but if you are concerned, you need to contact your surgeon for further evaluation or treatment. We can't diagnose what is happening on the internet.
