swimmer paralyzed in accident where spine was severed

olympic gold medalist amy dyken has become paralyzed in a car accident where as her legs are numb and cant move them. i believe she won 3 gold medals in swimming. what a shame for this to happen to a young athletic woman. i believe it was a all terrain vehicle that flipped but i could be wrong. i do not know the prognosis but if the spine was severed it does not look good. pray for her.
