White spot on axial mri

Hi, I've had a diskectomy and hemi-lam 5 years ago. Recently had a minor fall and have had pain ever since, numbness/tingling in leg and foot and severe back pain. hard to walk/sit/stand.

I got an MRI, and found what appears to be a fluid filled area on it, well defined and white with contrast, black without contrast. It' looks to be in the same spot the agonizing pain is coming from.

I'm 37. I am miserable with this pain. Wondering if anyone has any idea what a fluid filled spot on a disk could mean.
This is ruining my life.
