Spinal Cord Stimulation Therapy

My husband has severe chronic back pain due to a severe car wreck when he was younger and his different jobs as being a laborer. He also has several other medical conditions including diabetes that he takes insulin for. He has a bad heart and has an implanted pacemaker/defibrulator that goes off a lot due to his major heart problems. He has spurs on the bottoms of both feet and has high blood pressure, asthma, and high cholesterol which he takes medication for daily. He just recently got put on pain medication which is only Oxycodone 10mg's and one of the other things that they are talking about doing is putting in a Precision Spectra SCS Therapy Unit. I have major concerns about him having this implanted due to the condition of his heart and already having an implant for his heart. I was wondering if anyone on here has similar situations and can give any advice other than what the doctors can give. Thanks in advance.
