where to get an SI belt

I had an SI belt and used it for years and it was great, but i'm not too skinny for it and need to get another one. The one I got was from an orthopedics doctor. I have tried replacements from chiropractors and physio's but they don't work as well. The dr I originally got the SI belt from has retired and closed his practice.

I am in South Australia - im wondering where to get another SI belt

We're thinking of getting one of these belts to help with my husbands piriformis muscle pain. Has anyone tried one & can you recommend which worked best for you?

The Serola is the one were thinking of trying.

  • You buy a new one, you can check online for the width you want.
  • at the proper width and you can usually find them in medical supply businesses. I would suggest that you clear the use of one with your doctor prior to just getting one, that may or may not be helpful for your particular situation.

  • We bought a belt for my husbands piriformis muscle pain & it works fantastically well as soon as he puts it on!
I have very bad arthritis with inflammation, herniated discs, bone spurs etc. basically a mess. Of course I tried the belt! It's agony! I couldn't even wear it for a minute. I started telling this story to my doc & he cut me off as soon as I mentioned the belt saying I couldn't possibly wear one. Check with your doc if you're thinking of buying one. ;-)
