how can a previously fused disc herniate? very confused?

Now have drop foot and severe sciatica. The myelogram shows L4-L5 herniated disc. I had all my lumbar spine fused in Dec. All but the L-5, S1. Someone help, please

  • The anterior portion of the disc is left in tact, and the cage or bone graft is inserted into the area of the disc that is removed.
