MRI Report

Hi All

I had a MRI of my lumbar spine area & the report said I have tear in the L-4 & L-5 area & DDD also in the report a large fibroid was seen in my uterus (which I already know about). I have not had a period in 3 years so thought the fibroid would start shrinking.

I went to a PM Dr. who specializes in back pain plus he is a orthropedic DR.
When he looked at my MRI report he acted like the tears in my lower back shouldn't be causing me so much pain & he said he thinks the fibroid may be pressing on nerves so I have to go for a mri of my pelvis with contrast.

I have had herniated disc in the same area back in 1998 & eventually got better but was never told the disc were torn like the mri is showing now.

I am just posting this because I am not very happy with this DR. stating that my back is not that bad & thinking the culprit is the fibroid. I have read on this site that a lot of members are in a lot of pain if their disc are torn.

Thanks for reading my post
