neck cracking

UGH - I have never had to post anything like this - but having neck issues - where there is soreness, cracking and popping -. I am going to a chiropractor now and physical therapy - going on two months. My range of motion is limited and now it seems I am starting to get headaches. There is no numbness or tingling or anything out of the ordinary going on in my back or arms. Just the neck.

I have stopped working out, and just not sure what to do - pain is at the neck and is difficult to locate exactly at times. The pain is 24/7.

Is there a possibility this is jaw related as i have had braces later in life - had to get them twice.
I have not been in an accident, I did work out doing some high impact stuff but don't think that affected it, I sit most of the day in front of a computer but got a new chair and very aware of posture, etc.

The chiropractor says there is some arthritis in the neck but he didn't seem overly concerned about that. He does seem to think i should continue on the 3x week course for now.

Thank you.
