  • First things first, pls see a Doctor and go through the proper channels to find out if you indeed have a problem with your spine and/or hip. That Doctor will be able to steer you in the right direction as to what comes next and so on...By no means am I being rude and I am certainly not a Doctor, but perhaps you need to get in contact with a Personal Trainer and/or Nutritionist as 309 lbs @ 6' is a lot of weight to carry.

    Realize that FEAR is our worst enemy. Get up & get out in that stormy weather of the real world & kick fear in the teeth. Stare at it dead in the eyes & walk right through it into the storm; because once you're wet, you won’t fear the rain anymore

  • Once you have a diagnosis they are all questions that my physical therapist answered for me. I was referred by my doc & it has always been covered by my insurance. Mine gave me all of my stretches & exercises on paper so I could continue to do the routines at home.
    Osteoarthritis & DDD.
  • And see if he might recommend some massage therapy. I am an endurance athlete and often have found myself crooked but was fixed with sports massage (not the kind you get at Massage Envy.). That said, I do think you are carrying a lot of weight and while it's hard to get active when one is in pain, it is pretty easy to alter your diet if you need to. I know when I lost about 8 pounds, I felt immensely better!
  • And it's really helped. It's hard to lose... But worth it.
