hi - can anyone help? i have hot fiery pain across my scapula which dissipates when i lie down or apply direct pressure to the scapula. i had a bicycle accident, broke C5 and C6 and suffered a spinal cord lesion at C5. Since then i have had a large soft tissue hump between my shoulder blades as well as this fiery hot sensation and deep seated pain. no one can tell me what causes it or how best to treat it. any ideas anyone?

Fortunately for me I have had only one episode that happened to me.
I have myelomalacia. Soft spot in the spinal cord. My advice go to the doctor and get an mri done. Also don't over exert yourself at all till you get it checked out. No heavy exercise what so ever.
