  • Even though posting doctor's/physician's names in the publicly-accessible forums is a no-no, what about using the private messaging route to share this type of information? Would that still be considered a violation since those messages are strictly between sender/recipient?

The private message system follow the exact rules as the forum does. Private messages are used to exchange communication between one or more members. Its private in the fact that no one else can see those messages. But this does not change the rules.

We have had this situation many times. The way the message gets around is for people to use their external emails. That has been the most effective way to pass on this type of information
