Nerve Pain?

Help Needed,

Had a eight hour operation on my Thoracic spine around 3 1/2 weeks ago to straighten it by fusing it , my recover is going great spine wise and I'm hardly feeling any pain there but it's the rest of my body that's struggling!
Pretty much all of my body is very tender and aching and feels like I've had a good kicking, especially the top of my thighs an right elbow! This has been like this from pretty much straight after the surgery.
I am waiting for the surgeon to get back to me concerning this but I just wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience of this or knew why this was happening,
I thought maybe this had something to do with being under for around eight hours and it may be nerve problems

Regards

Darren

  • since it is the top of your thighs..........it can take a couple of weeks to resolve , especially given the length of your surgery.
