I'm suffering from lower back pain for past 3 years. I tried all kind of treatments but none gave relief to my pain. Now lower back pain became very severe. So, my doctor suggested to take medicine and saying this is not a severe case. But I couldn't tolerate my pain. Can anyone please suggest me any better treatment?.

Today I had consultation with a doctor in my hometown and he suggested lower back surgery. Please advise me, is it good to undergo surgery?. After surgery, will I have relief from pain?.

Appreciate if anyone help me regarding this.
