5months in, what a liife with sciatica :\

Hey, I'm bearly 23 and my doc told me I had a bulged disk which is causing nerve damage to my right foot. Better known as sciatica. I totally forgot which part(L5/S1) is my damaged part. But believe me when I say the pain is nasty! Just some kinda pain in not use to. Sleep isn't a thing anymore fore me since the pain doesn't let me sleep like I use to, walking isn't even good anymore! And sitting!! Forget about it, hahaha. So I have already gotten my epidural shots once about a month ago and it helped me for like a week but once the shots wore down my pain kinda returned, not to its full extend as it was before the shots but it was still bad. Only good news I can say was that the shots did give me back certain mobility towards how I moved because before my shots I truly wasn't able to move as much. So 5months down and alot of Medication taken I see that my pain is just always there! I'm thinking of getting another epidural shot to see if it'll help me some more because I'm to young to get surgery and im trully doing anything to avoid that because come on guys, thats some scary stuff right there! But from a 1-10 my pain is a constant 8ish. I lived an active life(gym, running, working out) and now my life is just sad and lame. So to all you sciatica people, just know your not alone! I feel your daily pain and daily struggle which xxx! O by the way. If anyone knows remedies or ways to help this pain. Please drop me a line. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
life xxxx with sciatica!!!!

  • - When did this first start?- Was it the result of an accident or trauma?- What doctors have you seen?- What Conservative treatments have you had? Which ones?- What diagnostic tests have you had? And their results- What medications are you currently using?- Has surgery been discussed as an option?- What is your doctor’s action plan for treating you?
