    Hey Darby,
For sure consult with your doctor but I've got a boat load of titanium implanted all over in my body and I can still have MRI's, CT scans with no problem.
  • I have used a TENS unit and I have a cervical fusion. For me they instructed me where to place the leads so i wouldnt worry about it too much. Ask your doctor to make sure thats ok with your surgeron though.

implants in my neck, shoulders and hips and I still continue to use my portable Tens unit.
I have not had any problem doing that.

But as always, discuss this with your doctor to get their approval

  • Had 4 bullet & shrapnel woulds metal all dug out of ALL parts of me but with cervical and lumbar fusions everywhere and Titanium everywhere I just began using a new 4 mode TENS with IF (Interferential) that I LOVE. I have 2 prescribed conventional only units that never really helped me at all, but this new unit with IF is honestly REALLY helping. Unless of course it is just a coincidence? I am paranoid after so many 100% failures in pain management but bought THIS on my own and THINK it is (so far) maybe really working. NO side effects noted after 2 weeks of it.
