Hi there,
I'm currently 18 yrs old and have been diagnosed with a L5/S1 annular tear and a L4/L5 Bulging disk. I bulged my disk at the age of 16 and is currently quite stable but still a concern. I tore my L5/S1 on the 12th Jan 2015. Im currently still on endone, most of my pain is referred into my legs and don't feel as much in my back. I have good days and bad days like anyone but i just want to know if anyone has had both and whether it will get better. Ive seen a neuro surgeon and he wants to reassess in 2 months on whether to operate due to the severity of the injury and my age. I currently use crutches to help stabilise. I struggle to sit and driving is worse Is there a chance this will get worse and am i more susceptible to injuring again?
if anyone could help that would be excellent, i don't want this to be the rest of my life.
