recovery from cervical neck fusion, bone taken from hip vs cadaver bone and pain
I had ACDF surgery about a year ago at C5-6 and C6-7, I requested cadaver bone because of hearing about the worse pain for a lifetime from the bone taken from your hip. Is this true? My C6-7 fusion has not taken completely and I will probably need surgery again. Any thoughts on using your own hip bone as opposed to cadaver bone?
