walking boot. back pain. need help!

i've been in a walking boot for about 2 weeks now because of a right foot reconstruction. Earlier today as i went to lean backward to reach up for something, i had an excruciating pain in my lower back which almost felt like a pinch and as i leaned forward i felt my back click. I am now in pain but it is not traveling down. Even slightly leaning back is excruciating. Did the walking boot throw me out of alignment? what could be the cause of this pain?
