Possible casual relationship to lower back issues from cervical and Thoracic herniations

I was injured in 2005 with neck and upper back issues. I have had 3 fusions in neck and still have herniations above surgery site. Also have reversed lordosis in cervical spine. I also have a herniation in my mid Thoracic which is all covered under Workmans comp. Question I have is it possible to get a herniation in my lumbar spine as a result of those previous injuries?
I'm either having nerve spine issues or possibly kidney issue. Just popped up over night. Sharp quick pain in lower back just to my right side of spine
