post op approx 3 months and still have pain

I posted before on this forum stating my ACDF @ C5-6-7 , this is my second surgery and I'm still in pain through my shoulders and down my right arm to my fingers. My right ulnar nerve hurts to the touch. Anyone else experienced this kind of pain? What did you do to get relief ?

It took about 8 weeks for my ulnar nerve to clear up. it was quite painful especially in the wrist.

Narcotics every day until the pain went away, that's what I did and was able to continue working by doing so. I could not have done it without them.

    Best of luck

  • I would stay the course a few more months and see what happens. Is the pain and burning exclusively from the elbow to the hand? That was the last pre surgery symptom to clear up for me
