Hello! I'm a 17 yr old girl with chronic back pain. I play golf and have played golf for 11 years. I have pain that is spread out on my lower back and goes straight up my spine and into my neck & shoulders . I often get a sharp pain on the side of my head I have to stop everything I'm doing because the pain is intense it fells as if I have been hit by a bat. idk if that has something to do with my neck/ spine. It is mainly sore around the big bone where my nevk and shoulder area meet. I tend to get spasms in my lower back a lot also. My lower back pain spreads into my hips. I have to constantly pop my back by doing a cat like stretch approx. 50 times a day. Along with twisting to pop. If I am bent over for more than 3 minutes my back tightens up and it becomes painful to straighten up. Often the pain in the center of my back feels as though there is air blowing up. When I get a massage my pain will stop for 2 hours max. Then starts back up. Help!! What should I do?

I was wondering if you are under doctor's care ? Do you have any limits on your activities to prevent further damage or to prevent any new issue?

It definitely seems getting doctor care is priority.

Doc needs to know all of your symptoms so doc can treat you and treat your pain.
Symptoms of your bent back and popping and how often during the day need to be included with info to doc.

You may need test for doctor to try to locate source or cause of your pain.
Please continue to communicate with your doctor so you can have better quality of life, which you deserve.

Please keep us posted on how you progress.

No I have not seen any specialists for this. I once visited a doctor but at the time I had a uti and he said that that was probably the cause for the pain. But this pain has been going on for years. My parents think that it is due to lack of stretching.
