bruising around incision

Hi Guys,
Have a question maybe someone might be able to answer. Tomorrow will be 3 months post op on my posterior neck surgery. I had C3-C7 decompression and fusion surgery. I am still having some major pain in my neck and shoulders and also between my shoulder blades. I also have some bruising around my incision. My question is......since it's been 3 months, shouldn't the bruising be gone by now? I understand the discomfort may take it time. But the bruising?

I had discoloration for a couple months after my posterior fusion surgery.
I also had very bad muscle spasms in my neck & shoulders. Therapist would try to massage them out, but it was very painful.

  • Still having muscle spasms in both shoulders. Also had P.T. and massages for the spasms. Hopefully the pain and discomfort will go away soon.
