After having shoulder, neck, back and feet pain for years. On June 13 2015, I was no longer able to stand at my job. Went to ER that day and xrays show OA in feet. Was treating that, had cortisone injections in my ankles. The swelling went down pain much better. Still had pain in my shoulders and lower back. It was suggested that I go see a chiropractor. At which time he sent me to get xray for my back. When the xray came back it showed severe osteoarthritis in my neck. Moderate OA in my middle back. There was not an x-ray requested for my neck but the radiologist was able to see a portion of it anyway. I am in constant pain I spent most of my days with heat or cold on my neck and back. If I have one good day I spend the next 3 in bed. I know I need to get a better xray of my neck which I am doing. In the meantime my house is a mess and I know that I'm going to have to come to the point of having someone come in and help me with everything. I am 52 years old I'm in good shape healthy weight. Yesterday I went to get my hair done, root touch up. today I have been in severe pain all day. I'm sure from sitting in the salon chair and bending my neck at the salon sink. I don't want to take pain medication. I just wanted to introduce myself. Start physical therapy in 5 days. I hope I can get some support here, as well as information. I live on the second floor with stairs only. Sometimes, I almost have to crawl to get up them. I now have to move, and will need to hire help for packing and unpacking.
