Hi, folks. Don't want to bore you with a new story so here's the Reader's Digest version. Ten years ago I was a tour guide and bus driver in Yosemite. After a grueling 4th of July week (9 days straight, actually). I staggered out of the cab of my open air tour vehicle and could not walk. Went to our ER and filed a Workers Comp. report. I was released from WC 11 months ago with "best wishes" and 4 grand for future medical. I went to a pain mgt. specialist who gave me good drugs but no help. I am finally scheduled for surgery (fusion-L5/S1, and laminectamies of the 2 above). I'm unsure of what to expect, a little scared but really tired of the pain and not being able to walk more than to the end of the house. I hope to read alot of your stories and maybe I can figure out things I need to do.
