hey chris, i'm on day 9 post.
i was doing really great until the constipation from surgery. drinking miralax twice daily, taking stool softners
twice a day, drank a bottle of citrate yesterday, 4 fleet enemas later, i'm exhausted. i go tomorrow to get my staples
out. i'm so afraid i've messed something up by bending over. i know, sounds grose.
trust me, you don't want this to happen to you.

Prunes helped me....but still....it's not the best of times for sure.

Flatout, what kind of L4-5 fusion? Hoping for the best for you!

Lovie, hope all is well with you....I didn't have staples. How were you even able to bend? I had to wear back brace for three months,, and at six months post op, my bending is still quite limited.... but to some, I may be considered a lightweight.... I just know I don't ever want to repeat this again, if I don't have to.
