Disc replacement safe/interference with MRI?

Hi guys I am getting a Mobi-C disc replacement implanted on Monday and was curious if you can still get an MRI with this implant? Or if it interferes with them at all? I searched and couldn't find any definite answers. Also does it effect the quality?

It is made of titanium coated cobalt chrome, with a high density core.

Anyone else have one and have any issues?

Maybe it is a dumb question just curious as I couldn't find the answer

Thanks

  • I would like to know this to.

  • The answer is yes you can, as I have had to have one done since my disc replacement, they however have to lower the power which will reduce the resolution a little bit, but they are still effective, so no issues
