Intermittent Numbness / Tingling after L4 - L5 Microdiscectomy

Hi All

11 Days post op and I am getting numbess / Tingling in the hamstring area. Much like if you were to fall asleep on your arm.

However..... if I lie on my left side the sensation goes away. Only to slowly return if I sit up or lie on my back or right side.

I assum there is some fluid build up there that is irritating the nerve, seeing as it goes away if tilted at an angle.

I am not getting any headaches or tenderness at the operation site so I don't think I have a dural tear (spinal fluid leak) plus the surgeon said the operation went well with no complications.

Anyone experienced anything similar? Would be great to hear from anyone.
