Hi! I'm new to this forum but not new to the site. So much helpful information here.

I'm 53 and injured my back Feb 2015.  Lumbar pain radiating into groin and down Left and Right legs at times.  I have had 3 MRI's, 2 Xrays a Bone Scan and most recently two test injections prior to Radio-frequency Facet Nerve Ablation from L3 to S1 scheduled for May 4th.  I've been through PT, I've seen 2 neurosurgeons a spine specialists and now a Pain specialists.   I have bulging disks L1 to S1, vertebral spur L2 to S1.  I have DDD,  Facet disease, Spinal Stenosis, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia and RA.  I can't hardly move if I don't take my Etodolac for inflammation,  I have a script for Norco but only take it when my pain is uncontrollable.  I would like to know if Ablations have been effective for those who have had them.

           Thanks!

    Hello....
Just to mention...while you are waiting for members with shared experiences to respond...
you may benefit from using the search on this site, upper right on page.

Typing in your concerns, ex...ablations....and you may be led to current or older discussions on topic.
You may also be led to the medical side of SH site..with articles and or videos.
Personally, I esp. learn so much from the videos!.....the visual aid and explanations so concise and clear for the every man.
