Additional Cervical Spinal Surgery with Rods

Four years ago I had anterior 4 level c-spine fusion. The other day my neurosurgeon says I know need posterior spinal rod fusion from C3-C7 the anterior is from C2-C6.
Has anyone had this done?
What is the mobility loss?

Thanks in advance.
