right lower back pain

I was at work and I lifted a heavy box the wrong way and I felt a sharp pain in my lower right back. I could barely move for a good 20-30 min and now it only hurts when I sit down. The injury happened early spring.  Does anyone know what's going on?

  • hello, nodoubtfan96!

it's probably best that you get in touch with your doctor about what happened.  no one here is permitted to give out any kind of medical advice, as there are no professionals on these forums.  it's quite possible you pulled one of your back muscles, but only your doctor can provide you with the kinds of diagnostic tests that can help figure out what's wrong, and point you in the best possible direction for pain relief.
