Hi people I have been lurking on this site for a good few months now and have learnt a lot from your experiences!
I will try and keep it short ha!
I herniated last November went to chiropractor for around 2months with little relief , kept working through this pain until it got so bad I couldn't walk! March time this year went for a private mri which shows left s1 compression over 50% reduction to spinal canal! At that time I came off work and haven't been back since! I had serve tingling and numbness in outside foot all the way up to the left glute! after months of stretching and exercising the pain finally eased! Went to physio for 2 months which gave me flexibility and improved my pain! Around 4 weeks ago the pain was a 1 at the left side so I started taking up yoga! After 2 sessions I started having burning pain in my right side and is progressively getting worse! Now the burning pain is in my right hamstring and top of knee? Went to see a different physio he said go back to basic and just do McKenzie exercise for now? I am doing to much in stretching wise and over doing it or is this all part of the healing process? Anyone with same experiences will be much appreciated ! I am 24 and from the UK Ive seen one doctor in 9months who has referred me to a spine specialist which is a waiting list for around 6 months!
