Just under two weeks after Lumbar Microdiscectomy L3/L4. I noticed my sciatica pain increasing as I tried to walk the number of steps per day recommended. I was exercising 2-3 days a week the last couple of years-so not particularly active. Surgeon's nurse just recommended I back off to  2-3 blocks max per day. This seems to make sense. Anyone know different? Mostly I would like to know if  others experienced sciatica return and what happened?
