Anyone had dorsal root rhizotomy or ganglionectomy in c6, c7, c8?

id like to know how that affected your hand function.
i hope my understanding is correct (well, this is what I'm looking for info on)
dorsal root rhizotomy = "Complete" cutting of the sensory nerve root in the spine
ganglionectomy = "Complete" cutting of dorsal root ganglion in the spine

the affected area in your hand, especially the finger(s)... can you move it/them independently like you used to?
