post op neuropathic syndrome

hi this is dave I had a complex 11 hour surgery removal of lemon size tumor c spine extending to brachial plexus and multilevel disk repair with bone grafting about 4 weeks latter I developed severe burning in rt arm before I just had numbness  numbness in my legs worsened somewhat neurosurgeon said I developed overactive /excitation of my nerves has anyone heard of this type of post op neuropathic syndrome ?
