Left Thigh pain

Four months age I had a sciatic operation. to deal with pain going down the back of my left leg. Now four months later I have pain starting at lower back, going down left thigh, knee ( big Time) down to the calf. Why?

    Welcome to the Spine-Health forums.

    It is not unusual for some pain to come and go even as late as 4 months post surgery.  This seems to be because of all of the healing that is going on, which can be the nerves, or affect the nerves.  But if you have serious concerns, you should of course discuss it with your surgeon's office.
