Hello! Chronic back pain. Just diagnosed

I went for steroid injection yesterday and Dr tread new MRI and I was diagnosed with several things. Degenerative anterolisthesis of L3 on L4 on L5. Facet joint effusion with a right sided extracanalicular synovial cyst. Broad based central disc protrusion contact S1 nerve roots. 
I've already had RFA. Did not relieve pain on the right side going down my leg. Went for injections. Dr says if these don't help liking at surgery. YIKES!
Hsu anyone else had this that can give me advice on how to deal with this pain?

    Has your doctor prescribed anything for you for the pain? In addition to pain meds, I used a TENS unit and ice packs. You can search for "the blend" which is a list of things members have used to alleviate pain. Hope you get relief soon!
