Who has devices fitted in facet joints ? Anyone ?

I'm having surgery to remove cyst from l4 l5 facet joint & a spacer device called DIAM fitted has anyone else had or heard of this please

Surgery in 19 days :/

    I just checked and there is information on DIAM spacer.

    You may be led to current or older discussions. You may be led to medical side with articles and videos.

    Again, welcome Dianeao! The article on DIAM spacers was very interesting. Hope you do some research on this matter and discuss all your options with your surgeon.
    This procedure was not available when mine were fused but wish it would have been.
    It's really amazing that now we can go online and look at all options of repairing our backs and pick and choose. Then discuss it with a surgeon is awesome. You just have to do your own research.
