Back pain months after surgery

Hi, I was diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 15. I had corrective surgery when I was 17. It is now 9 months post surgery and I still have extreme back pain it stops me from doing so much including school, my life is on pause. I am still taking painkillers called "tradol or tramadol" everyday, when I wake up in the morning it is so hard to turn over and reach for my painkillers. The pain is in one specific spot it is a very sharp pain that shouts out. I went back to my surgeon and basically got no answer to what was wrong with me. Please if anybody knows why or and ideas why this is or any ideas of how to help I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Sorry for your pain, Bella. My last surgery was June 2013. Cervical fusion. Docs are still trying to help me with my pain. My life is spent in the surgical center. One to two day surgeries each month. For my pain, it's been a  very slow process but each year gets a little better than the last.
