cold cause spasms

Hello I'm a new member here and I've had lower back pain for awhile but I had an incident about six years ago that I had server spam in my back and was sick. My problem now is every time I start getting too cold my back starts tightening up and if I didn't get to warmth quick enough it goes into spasms that can keep me curled up in ball trying to stretch it out for half hour to the rest of the night.

    Hello....
The cold definitely effects me, also.
Under best of situation, my pain can cause me to tremor at times, where people have asked me if I'm chilly.
At those time I am not cold.

But now, esp. with winter upon us, yes, if I become cold I tighten up, tremoring and consequently limited in any kind of activity. I get under the blankets and lie still waiting for it to pass.
Sometimes I have used a heating pad for my pain and tightening and that has been helpful to me.

That has been approved by my pain management doctor, whose care I've been under for years.

Just curious, do you have a diagnosis with your lower spine pain and tightening? ...and or injury that caused your pain?
