The old post has been closed, so am posting on any updates from members with their status on their condition.  My condition- t8 fracture 18 weeks out, all bone blood tests good and dexa scan normal.  Do not remember how I got the 50% compression fracture.  My ribs are really painful back and front and saw my spine surgeon last week. He upped my gabapentine to 800mg 3 x 1 day.  Started with 200mg and then 600mg; now hoping the higher dosage will help.  Norco is there when it's a bad day and there are more bad days then good.  Thanks for reading my post and please provide any input on how you dealt or dealing with your fracture.
