pinky and ring fingers numb on both hands

when i lay down on my back both of my hands pinky and ring finger go numb after about 5 minutes. What are your opinions on what this might be? I had a emg and the technician said there is something wrong but he didn't give me any details. Also, I had an MRI and they couldn't find anything wrong.

Thanks.

  • any luck?  I have the smae thing and MRI clear....carpul tunnel?  not sure, if I find out I'll post.  Going to be looking into it.
  • An EMG might clear things up a little. I would speak to my doctor about this. It could be so many things, carpal tunnel, nerve impingement in your elbow, or it could be neck problems. Sometimes MRI's don't catch everything.

  • Sounds like it may be cubital tunnel syndrome, in my non medical opinion.
