Scoliosis and SCS

I have scoliosis and had fusion. Now I have a lot of pain in the thoracic region. Is there someone here with scoliosis and who put the SCS?

  • Hello. I'm in the same boat. I've got scoliosis which has led to worsening pain in the last few years. Finally 1 step away from doing the SCS trial. While I don't have any experience to share, I'd like to hear how your trial goes (or went as your post was from February).

  • Hi everyone out there, I just had my stimulators removed three weeks ago I had them put in December 10th of 2017 I have never been in so much pain in my life when the stimulators were on I felt like I was being shocked with taser gun now I have all these muscle spasms and nerve damage I would really think twice about having them put in I'm trying to find a lawyer

  • I have mild scoliosis and just had an Algovita SCS implanted. It didn't seem to be a problem for my doctor.  I can see it might be if your spine is curved very much. Plus I have 2 bars & 7 screws at L4/L5.
