HLA B27+....spinal compressions...AS

Hi, my name is Mark, I am 49 yrs old and new to forums.

I was diagnosed some years ago with HLA B27+ and AS after random pains in different areas of my body.

I have since had recent MRIs which show degenerative lower discs and discs 3&4 now compressing the spinal cord. There has been talk of a discoptamy which scares me.

I have constant numbness, hot sensations and pain to my back and legs which is getting worse by the week

Does anyone have advice on whether the risks out way the good results?

Also, with the HLAB27+ I appear to get constant spots or rashes to my face and genital areas which I am told is usual with this condition. I have a cream that with constant use clears the condition, but I do not apply for 2 days it rapidly re appears.

Any advice  welcome

Best wishes
