Mid back pain

has anyone ever had a spinal cord stimulator implanted for mid back or thoracic back pain? I notice most implants are for lumbar.

My Algovita unit is in my left hip. The leads go up into my thoracic. It does help my lumbar, thoracic and even cervical pain. GLTU
  • Thank you. I'm in trial right now with Boston Scientific. I'm not really getting much relief  some but not what I expected. Do you know if the permanent implant gives better results than the trial?

I got great results with the trial and so I got the permanent. The permanent was fine tuned, last week, and there is one program that is really helping me now. It may be too early to tell if this will help me long term. I was missing the trial just walking out to the hospital parking lot after it was removed. It was 2-3 weeks till I got the perm install. The pain was through the roof during those weeks.
